4th ANNUAL WINTER WINE festival was a huge success!!

first off we would like to extend our most sincere thanks to our organizer,Brian Epp who has put together this wonderful event for the past four years. the dedication he has shown for our cause has been nothing short of amazing!

A huge thank you to Ed and Devine wines for the venue and all your help and support in making this event a roaring success 

a big thanks to the Old Strathcona Youth Society staff,students,volunteers,and board who have collectively gathered up the wonderful items  for the silent auction,and sold mass tickets.

an extra special thanks to Arlene and Glen for their work publicizing the event and their donation of time and resources, as well as Deb Kondysar, and chorus radio edmonton for publicizing the event 

thank you to clayton and the folks at accent lounge (8223-104 street) for the edibles 

 and a quick thanks to all who have donated auction items, Rachel Notley,Brian Epp,chapters,starbucks,the edmonton oilers community foundation, rona, two rooms cafe,original joes,fringe theatre adventures, the citadel theatre,harley davidson, Curtis Jaffray,intact insurance,the theatre network, pacific wine and spirits, pricewaterhousecopper, lanigan & edwards wine merchants, sterling real eevent.state,select wines,R&S painting and Tessa Mulcair. our appologies if we have missed anyone, thank you again for helping us create a wonderful

The old strathcona youth society is open new hours starting in june they are as follows and effective wednesday June 3.

Here are the new Co-op hours: 
Monday: CLOSED 
Tuesday: 12:00 - 6:00 drumming at 2:30 
Wednesday: 12:00 - 8:00
Thursday: 12:00 - 8:00 
Fri: 2:00 - 6:00~2:30 collective kitchen~(holy trinity) 
Saturday: 2:00 - 6:00 
Sunday: CLOSED

The Old Strathcona Youth Society is a multi-agency project dedicated to being a street-level resource to youth in the Whyte Avenue area; services include access to resources such as AADAC, Terra, STD Clinic, Child Welfare, housing and employment searches; workshops; and information and referral to community resources; has volunteer opportunities.
